I’m Araminta David and I’m a personal chef.

As a Denver native, I am happily cooking for the people of Denver, Colorado and the Front Range. Whether they are busy professionals, adventurous food lovers, or home entertainers, I am here to craft the perfect meal to accommodate any lifestyle or party.

With degrees in both the culinary arts and nutrition from Johnson & Wales University, I offer a unique niche. Most chefs don’t know much about nutrition, and most nutritionists aren’t trained chefs. With my educational background as well as 12 years of professional cooking experience, I can provide delicious gourmet food designed with your tastes AND needs in mind without sacrificing the luxury of indulgence.

Influenced by world travel (France, Israel, Italy, Ethiopia, Egypt, England, Costa Rica, Mexico, Hawaii), my home garden, markets, restaurants, and a prized cookbook collection, I am in touch with classic comforts, cutting-edge food trends, and everything in between.

Food is medicine. I wholeheartedly believe that the quality of life and undercurrent of health is directly correlated to what we eat. I thrive on organic, nutrient-dense, and seasonal ingredients crafted together with international flavors and a refined touch.

I am most inspired by chefs Alice Waters, Yotam Ottolenghi, Dan Barber, April Bloomfield, Jennifer Jasinski, and Jeff Osaka.

My goal as a Denver chef is to bridge the gap between local food sources and your plate and to connect with the people, families, and businesses in my community. I strive to create wholesome food options, offer nutritional education, share quick and simple cooking tips, and contribute to unforgettable events.
